As the new Principal of John Greenleaf Whittier Elementary School, I am committed to providing a safe environment in which all of our children can learn and are challenged to meet the demands of our globally changing society. I believe that our school has been meticulously designed to meet the needs of each and every student as well as promote maximum growth and achievement academically, emotionally, socially, and physically.

The John Greenleaf Whittier Elementary School family recognizes today's society as multicultural as well as global, and emphasizes the use of technological resources to support and enhance classroom instruction. Our teachers celebrate the rich cultural diversity of our student population while acknowledging that all students learn differently. Therefore, our teachers differentiate their instruction to meet the needs of all of our children.

I encourage all of you to join us in our efforts to continue to educate, stimulate and motivate all of our children in becoming the very best they can be as we strive to create a culture of lifelong learning.
